Because Peace Has a Scent
Mood Theories was born from the belief that your space should meet you where you are—and then lift you higher. We design clean, intentional fragrances that calm the room and center the soul. Every vessel is minimal. Every blend is thoughtful. Every detail is meant to live beautifully with you.
Philosophy Pillars:
- Intention
- Quality
- Serenity
Mood Theories started the way all good atmospheres do—at home. I’ve always been a candle girl. The kind of person who believes your space should greet you with calm the minute you walk in, and that a great scent can turn an ordinary Tuesday into a whole experience. Friends used to say my home didn’t just look good… it felt good. And I loved that.
But the brand didn’t begin as a business idea—it began as a wake-up call. During a season when my aunt stayed with me, she kept coughing whenever candles were burning. We didn’t think much of it until a doctor asked her a simple question: “Are you burning candles in the house?” That moment hit different. I realized scent should never come at the cost of your peace. So I went back to the drawing board and started teaching myself how to pour cleaner, more intentional candles—fragrances that could fill a room beautifully without feeling heavy or harsh.
That’s the heart of Mood Theories. Every candle and diffuser is designed to do more than smell good. It sets a tone. It shifts the energy. It helps you claim your space—whether you’re resetting after a long day, hosting your people, or simply pouring into yourself. Our scents are layered, expressive, and a little bold… just like the moods we live through. And because atmosphere isn’t only what you smell—it’s what you feel—many of our collections come with curated R&B playlists you can scan and play while you burn. Yes, we’re serious about the vibe.
Mood Theories is luxury with meaning. Hand-poured in small batches, rooted in storytelling, and created for anyone who wants their home to feel like a soft landing and a power move at the same time. Around here, peace isn’t a trend. It’s a lifestyle. Because peace has a scent.
